“POLYDROS” cellular glass heat insulation plates are cut easily, using just a saw, a cutter, or even scoring with the “trowel” or spatula, then separating them. For a more precise cut, a ruler or guide is recommended.

♦ WHAT SIDE OF THE PLATE MUST BE USED FOR THE ADHERENCE MATERIAL?

In the installation of “POLYDROS” cellular glass heat insulation plates, the adherence material can be applied to either side. The difference between the two sides (one smoother and the other rougher) is a result of the production process: the smoother face is the one carried on the conveyor belts from the various furnace output lines.

♦ CAN PICTURES, LAMPS, ETC. BE HUNG ON A WALL ISOLATED WITH “POLYDROS” CELLULAR GLASS HEAT INSULATION PLATES?

Absolutely. Any normal attachment device used for such operations is possible. However, if the item to be hung is heavy, dowels should be used, through the plates, to penetrate in the insulation support component (walls, frames, etc.).
